Q: How do I learn Siddha Yogam?

A: You can learn via online or visiting Kamannavalasa Ashramam. If you like to learn online please complete form. Click here form FORM. You will be given time and zoom link after you send the required information asked in the form. Then Sri Antarmukhananda Swamy directly teaches this pranayama. This is called initiation.


Q: What is initiation?

A: Sri Guruji imparts this Brahma Vidya to each individual. That is called initiation into this Siddha Yogam.


Q; Can I do this yogam any time?

A; Yes, you can peform Yogam any time, but any time at or after 3AM is perfect.


Q: How long do I sit for yogam?

A; Guruji advises you according to your individual capacity once you receive initiation. You can start with 15mts and build it up to one hour at a sitting by the end of 1 week or 10days.


Q: Is this same as other pranayama?

A: This is not any pranayama, this is yogic pranayama as per scriptures, the original one, called Yogam.


Q: Can women do this Yogic pranayama?

A: This yogam is for every true seeker, irrespective of caste, creed, religious background, gender etc.


Q: After cataract surgery can I continue yogam?

A: After surgery, do not do yogam for 15 days, then do yogam without looking upwards for 2 or 3 months according to your recovery.


Q: Can i do Yogam if pregnant?

A: Yogam can be done from the end of the fifth month of pregnancy. The more you do yogam after 5th month good for the baby, delivery will be easier.

Q: Should I keep my eyes turned upwards during yogam and also dhyanam?
